A successful Kailash pilgrimage depends on far more than a single guide. Behind every journey is a dedicated team of experienced professionals whose knowledge, care, and hard work help make the pilgrimage possible.

Sanjaya Devkota and his team have been organizing Mount Kailash pilgrimages since 2003, and have successfully led more than 300 groups through Tibet and the Himalayas. Their experience extends beyond the traditional Kailash parikramā to advanced pilgrimage routes such as the Inner Kora, Tirthapuri, and the ancient Guge Kingdom.

Each journey is supported by a highly experienced local team, including Tibetan and Nepali guides, drivers, cooks, kitchen staff, yak handlers, support crews, and local coordinators who work together to ensure the smooth running of the pilgrimage.

Many members of the team have spent years guiding pilgrims through the region and bring deep knowledge of the culture, history, geography, and spiritual traditions of both Nepal and Tibet.

Our English-speaking guides offer valuable insight throughout the journey while helping participants navigate the practical aspects of travel in remote high-altitude environments.

The pilgrimage is further supported by local devotees and volunteers who assist with spiritual programs, kīrtana, meal offerings, and participant care along the way. Together, this remarkable team creates an environment where participants can focus fully on the pilgrimage while feeling supported, safe, and well cared for throughout.
